Students with autism at the Intermountain Academy received a big gift from the Tucson Conquistadors today.
The Conquistadors donated $12,500 to the school to purchase new PE equipment for the students.
At the check presentation, Rose Lopez, president and CEO of Intermountain Centers, said, "This generous gift from the Tucson Conquistadores will play an important part in our curriculum and the advancement of our students; Phys Ed. plays a vital role in socialization and team-building. We look forward to a long-term relationship with this group of professionals who have become a philanthropic icon.”
