TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Law enforcement agencies are reminding drivers that beginning tomorrow, school zone rules will be enforced.
Going even one mile over the speed limit in a school zone, with a 15 mile per hour limit, will result in a ticket.
Drivers must wait for everyone to completely exit the crosswalk before continuing.
There is no passing in a school zone.
Kameron Lee, with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, posted a video with a reminder about school bus protocol.
"The only time you do not have to stop for a school bus is when you are driving in the opposite direction and there is some kind of a physical median in the road. Every other time, you are required to stop."
