TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Tucson Police Department received a message from a member of the public following the Tucson Gem Show.
According to a Tucson Police Facebook post, the department thought they would share the letter.
The letter from Tom L. from Chandler read as follows:
I'd like to take this opportunity to let you know how wonderful the Tucson police officers were this weekend at the main mineral show. All of the officers I encountered were incredibly friendly and a pure pleasure to talk with as well.
With so much negativity around the Police these days, I thought it was important to let you know how much I appreciated their professionalism. Every officer should know that their gracious and friendly attitude didn’t go unnoticed.
Could you please pass along my note to your Chief with my message. I appreciate what these hard working men and women do for a living!
Tucson Police would like to thank Tom for his kind words and want him to know that the note meant a lot to the department.
