U.S. Customs and Border Protection is searching for Border Patrol Canine Dunja after he went missing Monday on the Tohono O'odham Nation near Papago Farms.
CBP says Dunja separated from his handler in a remote location of the desert while they were conducting tracking operations.
Dunja has been with the U.S. Border Patrol since August of 2016.

He is a 4-year old, fawn in color Belgian Malinois.
