In separate incidents in Nogales Thursday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped suspected drug smugglers.
Here's a roundup of the incidents, according to the CBP:
* Officers arrested a 19-year-old Mexican national after finding 12 poundsof cocaine hidden in his vehicle's dashboard.
* Officers arrested a 59-year-old man from Guayamas, Son. after finding 9,000 pounds of marijuana inside a tractor-trailor.
Officers seized the vehicles and drugs and turned over the suspects to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
