The hottest time of the year in Pima County can be particularly hard on homeless people and pets.
Pima Animal Care Center is partnering with Friends of PACC and the Primavera Foundation to make "Go Kits" that will help pets facing homelessness.
The kits have food and basic necessities like bowls, leashes, collars, booties and more.
Earlier this summer, PACC distributed more than 300 pairs of booties to protect the paws of pets living with their owners on the streets in Pima County.
Friends of PACC is seeking monetary donations, treats, and other items like flea and tick treatment to contribute to this program.
To learn more, head to the Friends of PACC website. You can drop off donations at PACC 24/7.
