TUCSON, Ariz. — Northwest Fire District crews responded to a car that crashed into a tree near I-10 westbound between Tangerine and Marana Friday.
NWF say crews were able to extricate 2 adults from the car.
One patient was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and the other patient was taken to the hospital by helicopter.
NWF say both patients have serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
As of earlier this evening the frontage road was closed, but I-10 is open to traffic, according to TFD.
