"The only thing I could think of was choas," said Preferred Healthcare employee Traci Smead.
Smead was inside the westside building near I-10 and Grant when a Jeep barreled into business, injuring four people Wednesday afternoon.
After coming back from her lunch break moments before, Smead told KGUN9 - she had trouble comprehending what was going on.
"So, I sat down... It just sounded like a big explosion went off and I jumped up"
Smead said her first thought was that one of the healthcare center's oxygen tanks had exploded, but she did not even think about the culprit being a car.
"I just went over and... all the cubicles over there were completely knocked over," Smead explained. "It was pretty terrifying."
Tucson Police Sgt. Pete Dugan said there were two adults inside the Jeep that crashed through the windows and cubicles.
Two people were taken to the hospital with serious, not life-threatening injuries. Another person was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. One more person was also hurt, but was treated on the scene.
"It's pretty scary to see, you know, a place where you work and people you know just covered with dust and this whole mess," Smead said.
Tucson Police are still investigating. No word yet on if the driver will face any charges.
