A pedestrian hit-and-run car accident closed eastbound 6th Street from Euclid Avenue to Park Avenue and southbound Park Avenue at 6th Street this evening around 6:30 p.m.
According to Tucson police, the man may have been on the sidewalk when they were hit by the vehicle. After the accident, the car took off.
Police say the man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Tucson police say the roads will be closed for an unknown amount of time.
