Canine Carnival at Pima Animal Care Center

Posted

Pima Animal Care Center is celebrating its final tent-themed adoption event this weekend with a canine carnival.

On June 9 and June 10 from 9 a.m. to noon, you can see dogs performing tricks, completing agility courses, and participating in playgroups at PACC's shelter, 4000 N. Silverbell Rd.

PACC will also have giveaways, face painting, popcorn, and food trucks on site.

Dog adoptions will be $10 and those who adopt a tent dog will get a free bed and toy for their new pet.

"Our goal is to get dogs out of their kennels doing fun activities so community members can see the potential these dogs have to become their next pet," said PACC Director of Animal Services Kristen Auerbach in a media release.

"Even if you're not in the market for a new pet, stop by and see the amazing things our shelter pets can do," Auerbach said. "Who knows, maybe one will steal your heart."
