BUCKEYE, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Buckeye say a suspect has been arrested in a homicide case.
They say 29-year-old Roxanne Laramart was taken into custody Tuesday.
No other information on the arrest was immediately released.
Officers were called Monday afternoon about a woman who had been attacked at a home in the Shepard Estates subdivision.
When officers arrived, they found 69-year-old Sally Haese inside the house with critical injuries.
Buckeye Fire Department crews transported Haese to a hospital, where she died.
Authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy that will determine the cause of death.
