Pueblo Magnet High School was placed on a brief hard lockdown after reports of a weapon on campus.
This was the message sent out to parents:
Good afternoon, this is an important message from Tucson Unified School Safety. Pueblo Magnet High School went into a brief hard lockdown due to a report of a weapon on campus. The item was quickly found and it was not a weapon. School is dismissing as normal. Thank you!
Stefanie Boe, a spokesperson for Tucson Unified School District, said the lockdown lasted about 10 minutes.
The item was quickly located and was determined to not be a weapon, said Boe.
