The Cochise County Sheriff's Office was advised of a body found near Amerind Foundation off of Dragoon Road east of Benson Tuesday morning.
The call was made by U.S. Border Patrol agents who located the body.
The man has been identified as 28-year-old Omar Garcia-Herrera, of Guatemala.
According to CCSO, Herrera was with a group of subjects crossing through the area when he may have become sick in the heat and ultimately died as a result of environmental factors.
There are no signs of foul play at this time, and the Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate.
