HEREFORD, Ariz. — A body was recovered from the Coronado National Memorial near Hereford, Arizona, Thursday morning, National Park Rangers say.
Rangers discovered the body of an unidentified man near East Montezuma Canyon Road and called the Cochise County Sheriff's Office right away, the NPS said.
The CCSO is leading the investigation, with assistance from the National Park Service and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Cochise County authorities are holding the body for now, until it can be identified.
The National Parks Service didn't say how long the man had been dead or whether a cause of death had been determined.
