TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Police say a bicyclist died in a collision with a semi-truck Tuesday.
According to TPD, the crash happened at the intersection of Broadway and Avenida De la Vista.
The bicyclist has been identified as 58 year-old Terry Mulford.
"According to interviews conducted by officers and detectives, Mr. Mulford was riding his bicycle southbound on Avenida De La Vista approaching E. Broadway. When he reached E. Broadway, he did not stop for a stop sign and continued south across the westbound lanes of E. Broadway," TPD said in a press release.
Detectives say Mulford was then knocked from his bicycle and run over by the semi-truck.
The driver of the semi-truck stayed at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.
This investigation is ongoing.
