Ben's Bells are spreading their kindness this summer for the kids with a special camp.

'Camp KIND' is a week-long program for school-age children who want to learn about intentional kindness. According to a release from Ben's Bells, campers will talk about the need for kindness in schools and communities. They'll do this with games, crafts and hands-on science experiments.

The camp is lead by Ben Collinsworth, who specializes in early education. He's led summer programs at the Mini Time Machine Museum and the Tucson Botanical Gardens, and he is a teacher in the Flowing Wells School District.

The cost is $100 per child. Here are the dates and times:

  • grades K and 1   June 4 - 8
  • grades 2 and 3   June 11 - 15
  • grades K and 1   June 18 - 22
  • grades 2 and 3   June 25 - 29

All camps run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at 40 W. Broadway Blvd.
