TUCSON, Ariz.-- The Women of Quail Creek organization held a baby shower on Armed Forces Day May 18, for the 29 newborns of moms and dads from the Arizona Air National Guard.

The 7th annual event honored the 162nd Fighter Wing of the Arizona Air National Guard.

Six of the couples honored had both the mother and father currently serving.

Parents received hundreds of baby goods, many handmade by the organization, such as baby clothing and personal care items, baby diapers, fully stocked diaper bags, and more.

Parents also had the opportunity to play in games and raffles for larger prizes such as strollers and car seats.

"I think it's really helpful to a lot of parents around here," said Cessar Aguila, Army National Gaurd. "I think it's a good way for all of us to connect as well."
