South Tucson Police seized 226 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop Friday.
According to Sgt. Bryce Gardner with the City of South Tucson Police Department, the vehicle that was pulled over and searched for towing purposes.
The officer discovered several bales of marijuana wrapped in burlap/plastic wrap, with carrying straps inside the bed of the truck (hardcover on the bed).
The driver has been identified as Armando Espinoza-Tirado.
The case is still under investigation.
