TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Pima County Sheriff's are asking the public for help in identifying two suspects in a grocery store robbery.
Deputy Ryan Inglett said a man and woman entered the Albertsons located at 5085 North La Canada Drive on November 26 at 1 p.m.
The suspects entered the grocery store through the front doors and loaded a cart with liquor, laundry detergents and other items, Inglett said. The couple split up and the man exited through the front doors. The woman carted the stolen items through an emergency exit in the back of the store.
An Albertsons employee followed the woman and found both the suspects loading the stolen items into a green, GMC Jimmy SUV. Inglett said when the employee confronted the suspects the man reached for his waistband, implying that he had a gun, and asked the employee if it was worth it.
The man is described as Hispanic, in his mid 20's. He was last seen wearing a red hat, black sweatshirt and red shorts.
The woman is described as Hispanic, in her mid 20's. She was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt and jeans.
