Detectives with the Tucson Police Department are asking for the public's help to locate a home invasion suspect.

The incident happened on October 1 around 3 p.m. when two armed males entered a home near 7th Street and Cherry Avenue. They demanded money and property from the residents.

During the robbery, one of the residents was assaulted.

The suspects fled the area.

As detectives investigated they learned that shortly after the incident, a man matching the description of one of the suspects entered a convenience store at Mountain Ave and Ft. Lowell Road.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 20-25 years of age, 5’9” and 120 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, bandana and dark clothes.

The second suspect (not seen in the video) was described as a Hispanic male, 25 years old, 5’11” and a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a Boston Red Sox hat and dark clothes.

The suspects are possibly associated to a blue or black Jeep Wrangler with a soft top and aftermarket rims.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 88-CRIME.
