HEREFORD, Ariz. — The Cochise County Sheriff's Office arrested three home invasion suspects in Hereford Thursday.
According to Carol Capas with CCSO, on Jan. 28, an elderly woman called 9-1-1 reporting that three men broke into her home and robbed her in the Palominas area.
Deputies and Border patrol responded and found her glass slider door on her patio had been shattered. The woman said the suspects stole jewelry from her body, items from her purse, and other home valuables.
She also said the suspects were wearing latex gloves, bandannas, and dark hooded jackets. They all were speaking in a fake accent.
On Jan. 31, seven search warrants were served in multiple locations, leading to the arrest of 33-year-old Daniel Ramirez, 24-year-old Ryan Melton, and 29-year-old Ian MacPhail.
Ramirez and Melton were charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, theft, and robbery. MacPhail was charged with being a prohibitted possessor and has been released on his own recognizance.
