TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Eighteen people have been arrested in a domestic violence warrant round-up conducted by the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
On October 24 and 25, PCSD with assistance from the Pima County Attorney’s Office, and Pima County Adult Probation conducted a domestic violence warrant round up.
The operation lasted a total of sixteen hours, said deputy Ryan Inglett.
During the operation:
- 131 locations checked
- 18 suspects arrested
- 25 domestic violence warrants served
- 5 other warrants served
Domestic violence fugitive offenders pose an increased risk to their victims and the community, said Inglett.
