Arrest warrant obtained for homicide suspect

A felony arrest warrant has been obtained for 43-year-old Mario Jesus Dorame for 1st-degree murder.

Dorame is the suspect in the homicide that occurred on October 1 in the 5500 Block of South Tyndall Ave.

According to TPD, Dorame should be considered armed and dangerous.

He is described as a Hispanic male, 5'9'', 185 pounds with black hair and black eyes.

Detectives also learned that the victim of the homicide, 52-year-old Maria Escobedo's car was missing from the scene. The vehicle is described as a black 2001 Honda Civic Coupe with Arizona license plate BXH5934. The vehicle's hood and roof are faded and there are small dents on the right front fender.

According to Tucson police, the vehicle has been located.

Police are still looking for Mario Dorame.
