Tucson Police said Kody Lloyd Marble, 29, has been arrested and booked into the Pima County Jail for 2nd-degree murder following a deadly car crash on Nov. 10.

Just before midnight on Nov. 10, officers responded to a deadly collision at the intersection of West River Road and North Samantha Grove Drive after a Pima County Sheriff's Deputy found a Honda Accord had crashed into a tree in the area.

Police said Marble was driving the Accord. He was found unconscious and was sent to Banner University Medical Center with serious injuries. The front seat passenger, Joseph Paul Costello, died at the scene.

TPD said Marble displayed signs and symptoms of impairment. Speed was not a factor. Marble was arrested after he was released from the hospital.
