Arizona USPS are hosting passport fairs today

Need a passport or a passport card? Southern Arizona USPS sites are hosting passport fairs across the state as a one-stop for shop passports, passport photos and passport cards without appointments. 

Customers will be assisted on a first-come-first-serve basis and must provide a valid form of identification that proves U.S. citizenship. 

Acceptable forms of identification include:

  • Previously issued, undamaged U.S. passport
  • Certified birth certificate issued by the city, county, or state (Hospital-issued birth certificates are not acceptable)
  • Consular report of birth abroad or birth certificate
  • Naturalization certificate
  • Certificate of citizenship

In addition, another current ID is required, which could be any of the following: 

  • Naturalization certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Current government ID (city, state or federal)
  • Current military ID (military and dependents)

Participating offices include:

Green Valley Post Office at 50 E. Continental Rd.
Nogales Post Office at 300 N Morley Ave
Sierra Vista Post Office 2300 E Fry Blvd
Tucson Main Office 1501 S Cherrybell Strav Rm 205

The passport application also requires a recent passport photograph (2” x2”). Photos can be taken at participating Post Offices for a $15 fee.

Costs are as follows:

Passport Book
Adults(16 and older) - $290
 $145 for the passport book + $110 application fee + $35 for a Postal Service processing fee 

Children (Under 16)-  $230
$115 for the passport book +$80 application fee +$35 Postal Service processing fee
*Children must be accompanied by both parents

Passport Card
Adults (16 and older) -$65 
$35 for the passport book + $35 for the Postal Service processing fee
*Both payments must be separately made with one made to the Postal Service (postal fee) and the other made to the State Department (passport book)

Children (Under 16)-  $50
$15 for the passport book + $35 for the Postal Service processing fee
*Both payments must be separately made with one made to the Postal Service (postal fee) and the other made to the State Department (passport book)
*Children must be accompanied by both parents

To make the process as quick as possible, applicants are strongly encouraged to print and complete their applications ahead of time by going online attravel.state.gov. 

 

They instruct to use only black ink and do not sign the application form, as the passport acceptance clerk must witness the signing.

Customers may also obtain a form at any passport office.
