Arizona's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained at 4.7 percent in June, unchanged from May as the state's economy lost nearly 45,000 jobs in June from the prior month.
The state Office of Economic Opportunity's monthly report released Thursday says five of the 11 economic sectors gained jobs in June, led by construction with an increase of 4,500 jobs.
Meanwhile, six sectors lost jobs in June, with the government sector alone shedding 40,100 jobs.
