PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a trooper was involved in a shooting in Phoenix but that nobody was injured.

The DPS said on Twitter that the shooting occurred Wednesday morning but did not provide specifics on the circumstances.

News outlets posted video of a sedan parked on a residential street with a DPS SUV behind it. The sedan appeared to have bullet holes in windows and elsewhere. Evidence markers were on the pavement next to and behind the car.

The incident occurred near North 41st and West Maryland avenues.
