The Arizona Board of Regents may approve a new executive director.
The board is holding a special meeting Thursday afternoon in which they will discuss the appointment of John Arnold as the next executive director.
The 3 p.m. session will be closed to the public until the last 15 minutes.
The board could settle on approval by the end of the meeting.
