The University of Arizona Baseball team lost to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers in the third game of the College World Series finals on Thursday.
An error from UA's Cody Ramer gave CCU a 2-0 lead in the 6th inning. G.K. Young then hit a two-run homerun to give the Chanticleers a 4-0 lead.
The Wildcats responded in the bottom half of the 6th inning as Jared Oliva hit a two-run single to cut CCU's lead in half 4-2.
A sacrifice fly from Zach Gibbons in the bottom of the 9th trimmed CCU's lead to 4-3.
Ultimately Arizona fell by a final score of 4-3. The win marks Coastal Carolina's first National Championship victory.
