The University of Arizona Wildcats Baseball team is officially headed to Omaha, Nebraska to play in the College World Series after they defeated Mississippi State in the NCAA Super Regional.

The Wildcats had missed the postseason the last three years.

"I never want to build a fence around what we can accomplish. Once we got going, and once we turned the calendar on a new year, I knew we would be better than everyone thought. It's not always the team with the best players. It's the team that plays the best," head coach Jay Johnson told KGUN9.

Arizona will play the University of Miami at 5 p.m. MST on ESPN2 Saturday.
