AOL helps teach Tucson students computer skills

Posted

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Students at Prince Elementary School are taking computer skills to a new level during a global initiative.

Nearly 100 students participated in the hour of code movement to help learn more about computer programming.  Throughout the day, every second grade student worked on coding through an online Star Wars themed lesson.

A senior tech manager at AOL who attended Prince Elementary as a child says it is great to come back home and teach this skill to students.
