More than 70 animals are at risk of losing their home at a ranch in Marana.Rose Ranch Animal Rescue has been rehabilitating animals for more than a decade. But now, they're in danger of having to shut down.

The 28 acre ranch in Marana does more than just rehabilitate sick and abandoned animals. They take in a lot of wild and exotic animals that people had as pets but then couldn't keep. They also host things like educational events and birthday parties. All of the money goes back to helping feed and care for the animals. If they don't increase their fundraising soon -- more than 70 animals will have to be relocated.

"We probably will have to adopt them out," said owner Michael Howell. "I make people go through the hardest adoption because we want to make sure that they have a good home and it takes a long time for me to adopt an animal out. So we want to make sure that they're gonna be cared for and find them homes we just don't want any of them hurt or in a place where it's not good for them."

Howell says there's tons of resources that help common pets like cats and dogs, but a limited amount will take in wild animals. Rose Ranch Animal Rescue is hoping to raise at least $25,000 by the end of January to keep their doors open.

In addition to donations, the ranch is also looking for volunteers. For more info click here.
