TUCSON, Ariz. — Today, close to 600 students took the stage at the Scripps National Spelling Bee, including one from Oro Valley!
Tanish Doshi, from the Amphi School District, is moving onto the next round after spelling "Afflatus" correctly.
The definition for "Afflatus" is a "devine creative impulse".
One of our Wilson K-8 School Wranglers is competing at the @ScrippsBee. Tanish Doshi is one of 565 in D.C. for the bee. Today, he correctly spelled"afflatus". We are hoping he makes it to the finals on Thursday!
