TUCSON, Ariz. -- DeGrazia Elementary School in Marana will start at its normal time Wednesday morning, after a student made threat on Tuesday.
Marana Unified School District says a student allegedly said they planned to "bring a gun and shoot up the school."
Pima County Sheriff's Deputies were immediately contacted, and they investigated the situation before arresting a student. The school principal also sent a letter to parents notifying them about the threat and quick response by PCSD.
School officials say safety is a priority and there is no longer a safety concern.
