TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Albertson's grocery store recieved approval on Monday to open 30 forner Haggen stores including two in Tucson.
Albertson's was the successful bidder for the stores as part of a bankruptcy auction earlier this month. The two stores in Tucson were Safeway stores that had been sold to Haagen earlier this year.
The Albertson's CEO says the new stores will have the opportunity to create great jobs in these communites.
Albertson's will reopen the store under its various operating banners in 2016.
