TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Just in time for the holidays, a group of rescue airmen arrived back home on Thursday afternoon for the first time in five years.
The airmen were deployed to Asia from the 79th rescue squadron and 923rd aircraft maintenance squadron. The airmen were part of an operation which target ISIS.
"Every time we come back somebody else is rotating out so its good to see everybody back, but continue to think about the people that are still over there that won't be back for Christmas, " said Capt. Daniel Ritter.
