Kelly Pflug says her son passed away in April after crashing into a palm tree in Tucson. She said he suffered from a seizure behind the wheel.
Ben-David Pflug was 28-years-old when he died. He was an Afghanistan combat veteran who was injured after driving over an IED.
Since Plfug left for the military, his mom has flown an American Flag in front of her home.
"And then I've had his entombment flag since May 15 and somebody stole it the other day. The day before my son's 29th birthday somebody stole the flag."
A couple days later Pflug put a note covering the entire side of her car, telling the person who stole her flag to keep it.
"I don't want the flag back, they've ruined it the meaning of my flag."
