A 91-year-old man is enrolled in online classes at UA this year.
Jim Chaffins, a World War II veteran living in Green Valley, is the oldest freshman on campus, KGUN9's Alexa Liacko reports.
He's pursuing a history degree, and says one of his toughest challenges has been learning to use a computer.
Chaffins attended a semester of college in West Virginia in 1943, but put his college career on hiatus due to family and job needs.
He is enrolled in three classes this semester.
