Nine high school students from Buckeye have reportedly been injured in a crash in California.

According to CNN, a school bus with 33 Buckeye students aboard was hit from behind by a semi-truck on Highway 95 near Needles, California.

The California Highway Patrol told CNN the force of the impact pushed the bus between two semi-trucks.

The Arizona students were reportedly headed to a volleyball tournament in Mohave, California.

San Bernardino County Fire said nine patients are being treated at the scene. The severity of their injuries are unknown at this time. Highway 95 is closed in both directions.
