COCHISE COUNTY, ARIZ. — The Cochise County Sheriff's Office says an 81-year-old woman was hit by a man that broke into her house just south of Sierra Vista
It happened in the Palominas and Three Canyons area on Monday night. The woman told deputies three men broke in through the sliding glass door on her patio.
She said the men were all wearing latex gloves and bandanas over their faces. The woman told sheriff's deputies that she was hit by one of the suspects before they took jewelry she was wearing, stuff from her purse, and other things in the home.
CCSO says the victim did not want medical treatment.
Investigators have found evidence related to the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
