Police say a resident on the 200 block of West Delano Street, near Fort Lowell and Stone, discovered a man lying on the ground outside of an abandoned home just before 3:30 p.m. She told police he looked to be severely injured and called 911.
Officers at the scene tell KGUN 9 reporter Ivan Rodriguez the 51-year-old man had been stabbed several times and died after medics brought him to a hospital.
Police have identified the man as Leroy Perez Calvillo.
