TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Officers with the Tucson Police Department have arrested five suspects in connection with a carjacking on Nov. 8.
The vehicle associated with the carjacking was located Wednesday afternoon in a plaza at Broadway and Camino Seco.
The incident began at the McDonald's, according to Sgt. Kimberly Bay.
When officers arrived at the scene, five suspects ran into the car and sped off.
While they were still in the parking lot the suspects crashed into a power box and gas line and two fled from the car.
The other three people were immediately taken into custody while two others ran from the scene.
A short time later one of the suspects surrendered and another was bit by a canine unit and surrendered.
All 5 suspects are in custody.
