There are plenty of ways for you and your family to celebrate the 4th of July with events happening across Southern Arizona.

PIMA COUNTY

TUCSON
 
"A" Mountain- The 20th Annual “A” Mountain Fireworks Celebration, sponsored by KGUN 9 On Your Side, will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. on July 4.  Enjoy the fireworks celebration from the Tucson Convention Center’s Parking Lot B or Parking Lot C. Parking will be free. There will be food vendors (burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, and refreshments) available from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A patriotic soundtrack to the fireworks display will be broadcast thanks to KGUN's sister station 94.9 MIXfm.

Casino del Sol - Grab a seat at AVA to celebrate their 21st Birthday Fireworks Extravaganza on Sunday, July 3 at 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the free event.

4th of July Diamonds in the Sky Celebration - The celebration takes place at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium, 2500 E. Ajo Way.  The event will feature the Tucson Saguaros baseball team and a post-game Fireworks Spectacular. The Stadium will offer $1 hot dogs, half-priced concessions, and have a Kid Zone featuring inflatables, carnival games, face painting and more.  Fireworks will be launched from the North Complex Stadium after the game.

MARANA
 
Crossroads at Silverbell Park located at 7548 N. Silverbell Road will host Marana's Fireworks Fiesta presented by Comcast, in partnership with MHC Healthcare.  Visit Marana's Arizona Pavilions District for an evening of patriotic fun and excitement with activities for the kids and food vendors from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

VAIL
 
"A Colossal Fourth" Parade will begin at 14600 East Colossal Cave Road at 9 a.m. This first ever parade will host our own Valerie Cavazos as the grand marshal. The parade begins at the Christ Lutheran Vail Church parking lot at 14600 E Colossal Cave Road and ends at Hacienda del Lago Golf Course parking lot. There will also be a flyover by two F-16 jetd from the 162 wing between 11:45 and 11:50 a.m. A block party will follow from 4 until 8 p.m. that will feature live music, booths and a giant slip n' slide.

ORO VALLEY
 
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a great view of the spectacular fireworks from El Conquistador Golf & Tennis. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. and are provided by the Hilton El Conquistador Resort, in partnership with the Town of Oro Valley. Free to attend.

SAHUARITA
 
Join Rancho Sahuarita, the Town of Sahuarita, and other community partners for this year’s 4th of July event at the Sahuarita Town Center. Enjoy live music, food trucks, face painters, jumping castles and more! The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m.

MOUNT LEMMON
 
The annual Mount Lemmon July 4th Parade will be held at noon.  The road is closed to traffic from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Arrive early because the main road to Summerhaven is blocked before the parade starts. 
 
COCHISE COUNTY
 
BENSON
 
The City of Benson will be celebrating Independence Day on July 4th from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. The festivities will start with a parade at 9 a.m. This year’s Parade theme will be “Stars and Stripes” The Parade Grand Marshal will be Congresswoman and Retired Air Force Pilot, Martha McSally.
 
The City of Benson celebrates Independence in a classic big way with a family-friendly parade, water fight by local Fire Fighters, and all day fun in Lions Park with vendors, food, music and a spectacular Fireworks Show at night.

The 49th Annual 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks Event is sponsored by the Sierra Vista Rotary Club, City of Sierra Vista Leisure and Library Services Department, Fort Huachuca and Business Community Members. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park.

Tombstone Fourth of July celebrations includes a softball tournament and food booth at Medigovich Field. Fireworks display at dusk by the Tombstone Volunteer Fire Department (weather permitting).

NOGALES
 
The City of Nogales will be hosting the annual 4th of July celebration at Fleischer Park. The event begin at 2 p.m. and wrap up at midnight. There will be food, games, vendors, music, and much more. Fireworks are expected to begin at 9:15 p.m.
 
PATAGONIA
 
Patagonia will be hosting a 4th of July parade. in Patagonia! Parade begins at 11 a.m.

TUBAC
 
Tubac Golf Resort & Spa is hosting a festival to celebrate Independence Day on Monday, July 4th 2016. The festivities start at 4 p.mm and will feature entertainment, a kid’s zone, food booths and a spectacular fireworks display at 8:45 p.m. There is no entrance fee; parking is $10 per car.
