TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Tucson Electric Power is reporting more than 20,000 customers without power on the city's east side Tuesday morning.

According to the company's website, they're not sure what caused the outage or when it will be fixed. The outage began just after 10 a.m.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning Monday night into Tuesday morning, with flurries in the Tucson area. TEP hasn't said whether the outage is weather-related.

The outage is also affecting some schools. According to an email to parents from Alice Vail Middle School, the outage has affected some teachers' ability to conduct zoom classes.
