TUCSON, Ariz. — The local Chapter of the Arizona Society of Daughters of the American Revolution joined the U.S.A. Vietnam War Commemoration to recognize Vietnam veterans Saturday.
The ceremony starts at 11 a.m. and will be held at the Woods Memorial Library.
30 veterans and guests will attend the ceremony to receive a certificate and commemorative pin.
Arizona Society of Daughters of the American Revolution mission is to honor and bring together Vietnam veterans.
ASDAR and U.S.A. Vietnam War Commemoration have have thanked nearly 3 million Vietnam vets in over 17 thousand ceremonies.
