MESA, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in Mesa say three people were seriously injured in a three-vehicle accident that involved a cement truck.
The cement truck ended up on its side on a sidewalk and lawn on the side of a road and that the other two vehicles -- a car and a pickup truck -- were seriously damaged in the accident Thursday morning.
Fire Department spokesman Ken Hall says crews had to use special equipment to remove the drivers of the pickup and car from their vehicles.
Police said the cement truck and the pickup collided head-on.
