One of three firefighters who suffered burns battling a brush fire outside Yuma remains hospitalized.
Authorities say two State Forestry firefighters were burned last Friday after falling into an ash pit 14 miles northeast of Yuma.
They say one firefighter suffered second- and third-degree burns and was flown to a Phoenix burn center where he was still being treated Monday.
The second firefighter was treated at a Yuma-area hospital and released.
Authorities say a third firefighter was injured Saturday on the same fire. He suffered minor burns and was also treated at a hospital and released.
The firefighters weren't identified, but authorities say two are part of State Forestry's crew in Phoenix and the other is a member of the State Forestry and the Department of Corrections' crew in Yuma.
