TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A man and woman who were facing first-degree murder charges in the 2017 death of a Tucson baby have pleaded guilty to lesser offenses.

Pima County prosecutors say Jon-Paul Bogdanowich Jr. and Kylie Brewer both accepted plea agreements to amended charges Wednesday.

Brewer pleaded guilty to manslaughter and child abuse in connection with the death of her 6-month-old daughter and is facing up to a 21-year prison sentence.

The baby was found unresponsive in her crib in February 2017.

Bogdanowich pleaded guilty to felony child abuse with death or serious injury likely. He could possibly get probation.

Bogdanowich's plea agreement requires that he testify against a third defendant in the case, who's scheduled to be tried in November on first-degree murder and child abuse charges.
