ELOY, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say one person was killed and two others injured in a three-vehicle wreck that partially closed eastbound Interstate 10 at Picacho Peak north of Tucson overnight.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a 22-year-old woman was killed Thursday night when her car went off westbound I-10, crossed the median and collided with two eastbound vehicles.
DPS says the driver of one of the eastbound vehicles was critically injured while the third driver had injuries that aren't life-threatening.
No identities were released.
The freeway was closed except for one lane in each direction while authorities investigated the wreck. The freeway reopened completely around 3 a.m. Friday.
