PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police are investigating a shooting at a house party that has left one man dead and a woman wounded.
Officer James Holmes says officers responded to a call to a residence near 39th Avenue and Lynwood Street around 1:15 a.m. Saturday.
Holmes says police discovered a 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman with gunshot wounds.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Holmes says investigators are still interviewing witnesses.
They have not yet identified a suspect or a motive.
